I've caught the toy grading bug. I just find as I get older I just want to preserve my vintage toys and I want to display them without looking like a hoarder or having a tacky wall full of toys at 36 years old. You just can't beat the grading presentation. It really classes up a vintage toy and also tells you how it stacks up as far as condition goes.

Action Figure Authority(AFA) has been doing this a while now and are the biggest company. They have been the go to for grading toys, video games and even dolls. For the most part they haven't had much competition(besides a UK based company, which is solid but not really relevant in the states) until now. Collector Archive Services(CAS) came on the scene last year and has already become serious competition for AFA. This has been a great development for the collectors as having competition can only benefit customers in the end.

I'll cover both in detail. I'll go over web sites, turn around times, prices, customer service and other things. Hopefully this can help others make their first jump into sending off some of their best vintage toys to be graded.

The Process

1.Fill out forms, decide on return times(faster turn around times will cost you more).
2.Send the toy to AFA or CAS
3.Pay for grade and shipping
4.Wait for the return
5.Once it arrives, put it some where you can admire it and where your wife wont see it.

The Websites

AFA

Having a easy website to use is pretty crucial. I looked at AFA five or so years ago and the website is so loaded with miles of text(typos all over, like this blog), tons of links and just an out date and cluttered feel. I was turned off and decided not to bother with it(overwhelming). When I came back a year ago... Nothing had changed. The fact that they haven't put any money into a easier to use website blows my mind. I can't imagine all the profits they have lost from people just saying "screw it" when they get overwhelmed by it all.

You just feel like you time traveled to 2002 to use their website. Links don't work, population report tool is hit or miss and forms don't always load correctly. It's just a mess really. It can be a chore to even figure out. "How do I even start this process?" It shouldn't be rocket science.

Tiers for days...

AFA is all about Tiers, scales and codes. Oh and measuring your item... With like a ruler or tape measure. Tiers for how much you are willing to pay to for turnaround time. The scales can mess with you too if your a first timer. There is Modern(2000 to present), Standard(Anything before 2000) and qualified(stuff not sealed but complete in box). If you have something with a bigger card like a Ghostbuster you have to measure all sides and depth to get the custom price(fun right?) Standard size action figures are the cheapest.
If I had to pick one area AFA needs to get its stuff together? Its the website. It's inexcusable in 2020 and with what they charge to look and function like that.

CAS

CAS on top and AFA on the bottom. One is easy to use and one is broke.

While CAS website might not be perfect, its a hell of a lot better to use and and look at. It actually functions and makes submitting items a lot easier process and they don't have tiers for days to stair at.

You set up your order by the product you are submitting. So if you are getting a TMNT 10 back Raph graded than you look.. under TMNT. No measuring and all that. You just add it to the cart and check out. If they haven't graded your item yet, you just go to grade new item and you'll get a invoice with the price after they receive your item. Its so much less of a hassle.

Toys that have been submitted have pictures. Its nice to see what yours will look like once you get it back.

The account and log in is light years ahead of AFA as well. I can see all past orders and even pictures of my items(AFA does not do pictures for free). Once an item has been graded it will show up in your account with a 3-4 pictures of the item.

Winner: CAS in a round one KO.

Turnaround Times and Prices NOTE! This data is now outdated and does not reflect current turn around times or prices! Please see their websites for that info.

AFA
So turnaround times depends on what kind of money you are willing to spend. Lets take a vintage star wars for an example. Its size is "standard action figure". $40 will get your Star Wars figure back in 2-3 months(I've never gotten anything back in 2 months). 30-40 days will cost you $60, 14-17 days days will cost you $80 and 7-10 days will run you $110.

Now you can offset some costs by getting a AFA membership which have three levels. Silver($99 10% off), Gold($199 15% off) and Platinum($399 20%). I would never use AFA enough to have a membership and I guess some people send enough to make it worth it for them but I don't see much reason to do it for the amount I send.

As for turn around they do give you a date that the grading should be done by and have always met that but once. I wanted a Reaction SDCC graded for my brother and here before Christmas. They made a mistake lumping it in with my other submission which was a 2-3 month turnaround(I'll let you know their response in customer service). Outside of that they have always gotten my things back to me by the time they stated. I always go for the cheapest since the prices are steep as it is. I've done some Ghostbusters and that is $75 for longest turn around. Looking at $100 plus after all the shipping. That kind of thing pisses off a wife(mine).

CAS
This section for CAS would have looked a lot different prior to February as CAS has revamped their turnaround times. Before this new turnaround time standard CAS had awful turnaround times. You didn't have to worry about tiers and still just the one price but you weren't getting your piece back for 5-6 months. Which is atrocious. It took 6 months for both my custom Super Powers Batman and loose Lion-o.

The new turnaround time for carded toys is 30 days from the time its checked in. If they don't make that deadline you get 50% of the next order. Loose or custom they are saying 90 days but not a guarantee. If they can get close to that on loose items that would be a huge since it was 5-6 months before this was announced. So what does that look like price wise?

A standard vintage Star Wars carded action figure will cost you $45 with AFA and will be a 2-3 month turnaround. CAS this will cost you $39.99 and has a 30 day turnaround. So $5 cheaper and 60 days quicker potentially. Here is where I get really excited. A Real Ghostbuster is $75 at AFA with a 2-3 month turnaround. CAS? $44.99 with a 30 day turnaround. That pricing and turnaround time is not even in the same league. I can't imagine AFA can just keep going on like it is. They will have to respond to this. Won't they? ..

Winner: Two months ago I'd say AFA but CAS just threw down the gauntlet. Its on.. CAS steals this one at the buzzer.

Customer Service and Transparency

AFA
AFA's customer service is ok... It's like "meh". Getting a response back via email can be a few days most the time. I even have had to send a second email to get a response. They are professional and will answer my question. Since there population report can be the shits I'll email them trying to get correct numbers and that can pulling teeth a bit.

My one issue where they lumped a(just went to look at their pricing and tiers page, not working of course..shocker) my 14 day turnaround in with my 2-3 month turn around. I had to email them a few times and when they responded I got zero apology for the mistake or anything. Just a we will get that out right away. I basically paid extra to get this item back quicker for no reason. They just didn't seem to care.

Transparency? and AFA? Zip. Don't list their Graders or the location of business. Again I think this is a mistake. Transparency is important. Why should we trust you? I found one old 2009 Youtube video where some cheesy small business webcast gets to go to AFA and ask super scripted questions. I wonder if they had a bag put over their head for the ride to AFA head quarters?

CAS
CAS customer service has been always outstanding. I have messaged them on Facebook and gotten a response with all the links and help I need to my questions within an hour. You can actually talk to the people that grade the toys and they have names too!

Want to stop by the actual facility and snoop around? Sure go for it. From the site:

Our Facility:<span face=""helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif" style="background-color: white;"> We have state-of-the-art, safe and secure facility where collectors and dealers are encouraged to stop by to drop off and pick up their collectibles. Grading companies have long had a reputation for operating under a shroud of secrecy, but we have a completely transparent business model. We welcome one and all to visit our reception area and to ask questions, ask us any questions, or just to say hello.

I mean it couldn't be more opposite than AFA.

Winner: CAS, they are just better with customer service and being clear. AFA isn't terrible here but they treat their company like a secret.... Shrouded in secrecy.

Different Displays

AFA

AFA offers two different displays for your graded toys/ One is the smaller classic label on the bottom of the acrylic and the other is a larger front label that goes above the carded toy. This is where I think AFA really excels.

I love that I have an option for a nice big display of the grade. Its clear and easier to read than the classic in my opinion. I know as a I age and my eyes go south I will still be able to read my graded toys well into my 80s(I hope).

CAS

CAS only offers the classic label which is a bummer. They offer so much with the 30 day turn around and cheaper prices but I can get hung up on something as silly as the grade label. I really like the bigger display. Sue me.

I asked CAS about that.

<span face=""helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif" style="background-color: #f1f0f0; color: #444950; font-size: 13px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Thanks so much, Ryan! What nice things to say. We have heard a couple people say the same thing but we like to put the focus on the collectible, not our label. But if enough people ask, maybe some day we will do so. Have a nice holiday

Of course they are polite as always and were fast getting back but I am going to do the "with all due respect" thing here... Let the customer decide if it takes the focus off the collectible and give them the option. Its their toy and let them decide how they want it displayed. Plus it can only help their branding.

Winner: AFA, options are great and so are bigger grade labels.

Conclusion

So who is winner in my eyes? CAS won 3 of my 4 categories and in my opinion is just a easier process. It goes back to the two main points for me. The ease of the CAS website and the 30 day turn sealed turnaround. That is the biggest advantages for CAS. With that being said AFA still has the options with the labels which is a big plus in my eyes. I have certain things I just want a nice big label on. So I still use them. Not to mention their grades tend to hold higher values which a huge factor. The good news is that both are good trust worthy companies. You'll be happy with whoever you choose.
We are going to end on a very high note here. I contacted John from the Youtube channel Action Figure Grader. I figured a guy with over 700 graded figures and a Youtube channel, has to have a lot more knowledge than me about all the ins and out of the grading companies. And he does. Enjoy!

Do you remember the first item you sent in for grading? What pushed you to get into it?
John: I wish my first order of graded items was something more exciting, but I believe the very first time I ever sent something in to AFA was sometime in the 2008/2010 timeframe and was a sealed case of Star Wars 6-inch Black Series figures. I had a fairly large collection of mint-on-card GI Joes at the time, and I wanted to see what it was all about and how difficult the process was. I had enjoyed watching a number of different YouTube channels (such as The Blacked Out Ewoks, GI Joe Carlos (who is no longer really active on YouTube) that discussed graded action figures, and I loved the way they looked, the fact that the item could be authenticated and assigned a grade in terms of condition, and the protection and preservation aspects. Once I received my first order back, I was basically hooked from there and have only been collecting graded items ever since.

I had a massive collection of AFA- and CAS-graded GI Joes at one time and sold them all slowly several years ago for over $20,000. I plowed all of those funds (and then some!) back into the hobby and focus almost exclusively on Star Wars now. The recent COVID-19 economic impact has been tough on my family personally though, as I am in real estate and my wife has been furloughed, so I have more recently branched out into some very limited modern Star Wars as well as some limited GI Joe purchases, primarily pre-production and prototype items. I have been enjoying collecting on a budget over the last few months and have derived just as much collection “satisfaction” finding some cool modern (post 1990) items as I did when buying high-dollar vintage Star Wars items!

John: I get asked this question quite a bit. I think because people watch my channel and see me primarily unboxing items from Collector Archive Services, they assume that I like them the best. This is definitely not the case though! Each of the grading companies (AFA, CAS, and UKG in Europe) offer their distinct advantages and disadvantages in my opinion.

AFA: They are the leader in the graded action figure/collectibles industry since they have some of the most well-known authenticators (such as Tom Derby) running their operation. Their reputation is deservedly excellent since they really started the industry from the ground up. Many collectors only collect AFA-graded figures, and the sales statistics show that AFA-graded figures typically have the highest resale value (if all other factors are equal). AFA is the least user/customer friendly in terms of the ease of submissions and they offer almost zero customization. They also limit what they are willing to grade (in terms of loose/out-of-the-package items). The bottom line is that as a collector, if you have a rare Star Wars item or a rare mint-in-package item, you cannot go wrong with sending it to AFA.

CAS: Great customer service, highly custom offers, and absolutely amazing encasement options. They are who I use for items such as vintage bootlegs or other custom items that AFA would not even touch. Their turnaround times are pretty poor (6 to 8 months) for custom items, but they offer 30 day guaranteed turnaround for packaged items. Loose Star Wars figures run about 2 months. They are fairly new to the industry, but they are “hungry” and offer lots of promotional discounts, and their customer service is excellent. My biggest complaint with them is that they make a lot of typos on their labels that I often ask to correct, but they are oftentimes the only service that is willing to grade exotic items or loose non-licensed Star Wars figures. These guys get most of my collecting grading money because I enjoy collecting and grading wacky stuff. I consider the graded figure custom projects that I sometimes put together to be miniature pieces of art, and they allow my ideas to come to fruition.

UKG: I own many UKG graded items. I do not send items to them because of the geographic distance, but I have heard they are easy to work with and are a little more flexible in terms of what they will grade than AFA. Their cases are more rudimentary than CAS though. UKG is in my mind the leader in terms of label accuracy. They know how to label things clearly, and both AFA and CAS could learn from them in this department. Their prices are also very competitive and are known for great service. I sometimes question the grades they give on some of their items, but the same can be said for any of the 3 grading companies.

APG is a one-man operation and is someone I would not recommend using. They do not have any prominence in the graded figure community, and their items are not permissible for sale in most of the major Facebook groups. I would not spend your money sending items to APG.

In the next 3-5 years who do you feel will be the leader in the industry?
John: This is a very difficult question to forecast. I do not see any of the 3 major grading companies going anywhere anytime soon. The economic downturn always hits the action figure collecting industry hard since this kind of expenditure is optional for most people. If the pandemic that we are currently experiencing leads to a significant economic depression over the next 3 to 5 years, then I would expect all three companies will sort of be in a status quo sort of limbo until the effects have dissipated somewhat.

If the global economy bounces back in the next 12-18 months, then all three grading companies should experience continued, if not somewhat subdued growth. I do feel that CAS’ entry into the space a few years ago has significantly “upped the ante” so to speak and forced changes to AFA, such as laser cut etched accessory cases and AFA’s decision to implement the “+” system to graded items. AFA will in my mind likely continue to be the de facto standard, but the incredible work that CAS continues to pump out combined with their significant social media presence should hopefully allow them to continue to grow. CAS recently announced the infusion of some new investors/minority owners, so that should allow them to invest in even more improved marketing, equipment, and manpower. Hopefully this will reduce their leadtimes/turnaround times, which are currently their largest weakness by far.
John: This question/topic comes up every few months in the Facebook groups. I think the Pro grading and Anti-grading camps are so firmly entrenched in their positions that neither side sees the other’s point of view. It reminds me of modern politics! Grading items is not for everyone certainly given the costs involved. Most collectors who have common or easy-to-find items shouldn’t bother, and even some collectors that I know with amazing collections that dwarf mine in terms of value and rarity hate grading with a passion. I can understand their point of view and respect it. At the end of the day, people should collect what they want and how they want. If you are into grading, then go for it. If you are not, then I don’t see why you have to be so aggressive about it. The aggression (in my opinion) against grading toys seems to fall into one of two camps: (1) it makes everything cost more or (2) grading companies make mistakes and don’t know what they are doing so it is pointless. Both of these are incorrect with elements of truth sprinkled in.

Certainly grading causes inflated prices, but the price differential is no different when examining classic cars in different condition, baseball cards, comics, or anything else. People pay more for higher quality, better conditioned items. Grading is simply a measure of condition by a neutral third party that (in theory) has experience with similar figures and can assess condition and authenticity.

On point #2, every grading company makes mistakes, and I have always been quick to point it out in my videos, be it an incorrect label or a generous or overly harsh score. The volume of figures assessed and handled by the grading companies dictates that an occasional mistake will happen. When they do make mistakes, I am glad the anti-grading people highlight it and ridicule the grading companies if only because they will learn from past mistakes and do better the next time. Occasionally, a grading company does not catch a fake or mislabels an item, but their hits are far more numerous than their misses. If I am purchasing something rare or expensive, it is nice to see it authenticated when possible. Not everyone knows a Lili Ledy expert or a bootleg expert in their circle of (real or virtual) friends, so purchasing a graded item provides some assurances to the novice collector or when buying from an unknown seller online. The catalog of mistakes by grading companies is out there, but I have seen just as many mistakes by “experts” in a given sub-section of collecting when examining an item themselves. The action figure collecting industry is so big and there is so much money in it at this point, that fakes and crooks are a natural byproduct. Grading companies are one way to combat that cancer on the hobby (or industry, depending on who you ask).

John: This is another very difficult question to answer as I have well over 700 graded items in my collection. My favorites definitely change often. I had a really cool custom project that CAS did last year with a first generation 1980s Polish bootleg Boba Fett that was displayed in front of an extremely difficult to find overstock unused Polish bootleg cardback. That was a lot of fun to assemble and easily one of my favorites. I also have a couple of late 1990s Russian bootleg Bossk figures that are metallic green and metallic orange and one of only 3 or 4 to have every surfaced to date. In terms of licensed items, my two double-telescoping Luke Skywalkers are favorites since I really enjoy collecting Luke Farmboys.
I want to thank John from Action Figure Grader for taking the time to write such great deep responses. Just piles of good info here. Hopefully this post helps some with deciding what company to use or just how to go about the process. Feel free to hit me up on twitter with any questions.

I saw the trailer to this as a kid and went crazy in the theater. I then saw it and enjoyed it. I mean I was 7 so there was no way I wasn't going to like it. Now my kids have been asking to watch this one more and more. I'd say more than the original. They really love the end to the first but I think there are some slow parts for kids that bore them. Two moves a bit faster pace imo. Since I've seen the move twice in 2 days thanks to the kids I'd figured we do a Random Movie Thoughts on it.

-I can't believe this came out in 1989. Feels like 1992 or something. Can't explain it.

-Egon's hair is taller than ever.

-Loved seeing a broke down Ecto 1. We need a Hot wheels Elite of this.

-Dana was hot in the red in GB1. Never hot again in any movie at any time.

-I wish I could watch World of the physics with Bill Murry for real.

-Those guys make a crap attempt at stopping that baby carriage.

-I like the haunted painting bit. Think hes a creepy enough but you never feel the weight of "the world is ending like in GB1".

-The Ghostbusters digging the hole in the middle of the street is probably one of the funnier parts of the movie. Bill of course leads the charge.

-No Winston of course digging. He gets shit on per usual.

-I love how Ray freaks out and hits one pipe and the whole city goes dark.

-Tully is great in all the court stuff. Very funny.

-I love the court bust. Two great spookes, lots of proton streams. I think both movies could have had more busting. I want more of this! There just isn't enough.

-Get to see the new Ecto-1A which I loved as a kid. I entered a contest at the store to win one. I didn't win... I wonder who won it and what happened to it? Was it the real car? Replica? My son says it looks better too. I now enjoy the classic Ecto 1. Less is more but as a kid you love A1.

-You see some great stuff during the music video. Stuff I would want to see not just quick clips of. Again not enough busting.

-Jeanine is back and just odd. I really don't like it. She goes from normal secretary with an edge or attitude to trying to be sexy and now just seems like a dumb bimbo or something. Its almost seems like not the same person but it is.

-This movie takes like no chances what so ever. They took the safest of safe routes making this movie. Its like the same as the first but subbed in different ghosts and Vigo. Bill said the movie looked nothing like what he was told it would be. I think Sony got cold feet since the Real Ghostbusters was so huge and didn't want to keep parents from taking their kids. So they played it safe. Had Dan change it up from what he showed Bill. I mean they don't even smoke... No Twinkies either.

-The GB sign shows a "2" fingered ghost? So they are breaking the 4th wall? They know its a movie? Always thought the GB 2 logo was silly. Not a chance I go that route if it were my choice.

-So the door locks and Egon and Ray are trapped next to the fire. Winston then breaks the door down... So one side had the lock... If its on the outside why does he smash a door down? If its on the inside why don't they just unlock it?

-Probably the only original new thing in this movie was the river of slim. I enjoy all those parts and how it works with emotion.

-The slim throwers was pretty great, I had that toy.

-The Titanic scene was always a favorite. I still have my Hardees glass with the ship on it.

-I never realized that the ghost who took Oscar looked like Janosz...Until now.. Huh.

-I always liked the Liberty scene. Its just he Melo Man part of the movie basically. Loved the NES Advantage is driving the thing..All pretty crazy really.

-The last Fight with Vigo is so quick. Not enough streams and slim! seems like it ends fast. Ray turns to Vigo for like a hot second. Can't you imagine if Rayigo run off, grab Ecto and the GB have to follow to save their friends life? Would have been better right? Hire me.. when I was 7.

GB2 is what it is. Its Ok. It really builds very little from the first and tells almost the same story. Its a bit of a bummer. If anyone says its better than the first they drank to many Ecto Coolers. Played it way to safe and not enough Buster action imo. I still like it but series still has one great movie to its name. On the bright side. The 2nd NES game is a bit better than the first GB game...

I have the three GB2 comics which shows some deleted scenes with Ray driving like a nut in Ecto and crashing. Worth checking out and cool little vintage comic.
The real Ghostbuster toys were amazing. I had so many. I'm lucky I still have most of them and my kids now play with them. Kenner did a hell of a job for the most part. The minor complaints would be we never saw any of the great spooks from the show like the sandman, boogedy and many others. Also the proton packs didn't take much of a beating. I remember my streams snapping off and other things on them breaking and I was a kid who didn't play rough. The ghosts we did get all had fun elements like spitting water, shooting objects and popping eye balls. The line gets more and more expensive to collect. I just spent $100 on Ecto Glow Egon so I should know..

The original four GBs will cost you a lot on Ebay. I just saw a graded 85+ Peter go for $700...So yeah they hold value. Of course condition matters but I've found a few at flea markets for almost nothing sealed(gross Grandma for $1 and Freighters Ray for $15). I really wish I could find a sealed Ecto but that isn't happening or I'd have to pay for it. Please feel free to share any of your RGB in the comments! This was a really tough list to make since I had so many..

10. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

My issue with him as a kid was his size. He's just to small. He can fit in the fire house! I used to use a story line in my head that he got shrunk down by Egon just so I could stand using him. He is still a must for this toy line and I had my fun dragging him with Ecto 1. I always wanted the bigger plush one but never got it.

9. Slimer

I had the opposite issue with Slimer, He's huge! I wish he would have just been one of the ghost to come with the GB. He'd be scaled right at least. I did enjoy his half eaten rubber pizza.

8. The Ghost Trap

It didn't work the greatest but I still really liked it! I mean for the look alone it was awesome. Very cartoon accurate. Glows in the dark too! I used to run around with it on my hip. Throw it out to catch a ghost and stomp on the petal and...nothing most the time would happen..

7. Ecto-2

This was a pretty fun toy. My son enjoys it too. Just having a GB dangle from the string was fun. I picking up a big ghost. It again looked just like the cartoon and Kenner did a great job doing that. I always parked it on the roof of HQ.

This was always my favorite Egon. I loved his black flight suit. I wish I could have gotten the others in black. His flying backpack wasn't bad either.

This has become a adult favorite as I never saw these as a kid. This was the last series that barley saw the light of day as Kenner was bought by Hasbro and line was pulled. They even use the original sculps of the first four. The cards and the figures are just a thing of beauty. I just bought Egon in Mint Mint Mint... MINT condition. This series will set you back as its the most valuable behind the Original four. I dropped $110 for Egon but with the case and it being Mint.. It was a steal.

What a great toy and you got a PKE meter! I would run around the house busting ghosts and acting the cartoon out. My parents had a old farm house and I for sure busted some spooks with my Pack. Now my kids run around wit it on their back and that makes me happy.

The big 4! The originals! These got the most run with me. Sure the others are cool and do some funny stuff but these are it. The ghosts were always great too that came along with them. I just wish the proton packs would have been more durable as my broke and we used lots of super glue to keep them in service. Nothing was better then crossing the streams while playing and saving the world again and again. I would do terrible things to own these sealed.

Man was it hard not putting this at one. I love this car. I had so much fun loading up the RGB and busting out of the fire house with my mouth siren blaring. Using the claw made for many RGB saves from cliffs... I know but it happened in my room. The down side was the doors had issues staying on and it could be very hard to get the guys in the front seat. I never used the black top seat. Didn't seem to fit much with the look of the car. Mine was in rough shape and I got some new stickers and a door and repainted. Looks good as new. I also bought the Ecto-1A and was a bit let down when it was the same car but with different stickers. I'm sure my mom was happy too...Its still Probably my favorite toy vehicle next to the Thundertank.

I love this toy. I used this for years beyond RGB as it would used for other toy lines with my playing. I mean this thing is scaled for the Ecto which is something I wished my Thundertank was with Cats Lair but isn't. The guys can do all the things they can do in the show. You can go down the pole, put ghosts in the containment unit and work on Ecto in the garage. I loved busting through the doors with Ecto and heading out to busts some ghost. I never used the slim since I was afraid it might gunk up my toy. Not long ago I found my old one in rough shape in my mothers basement. I restored it and painted to be more movie accurate. You can see that process here. Now my kids use it all the time for a number of things and really enjoy it as much as I did. I'm still looking for the sign that goes outside so if anyone wants to donate one (:

The Kenner RGB is just an amazing line that got cut off from Kenner going out but the toys stand the test of time(not the proton packs) and still are a great time. Here are a few pics of my kids enjoying the line. If you are interested in my top 10 Real Ghostbusters episodes you can check those out here.

Well I pulled the trigger on this monster of a Batmobile. A 24 inch Animated Series Batmobile. Its always been one of my favorite ones next to the 89 Batmobile. I bought a 2014 Chrysler 300 just because it reminds me of this Batmobile.

Diamond Select did an awesome job with this. The hatch slides open and the pit has a ton of detail. The lights are very bright and give a fun touch. It rolls well and I am sure my son will take this and play with it when I am not around to tell him no. I've wanted it for some time but never wanted to drop $80. Saw it in person at Grand Rapids Comic Con where a dude told me $90 and I said nope I'll find it for a cheaper. He said "I doubt it."

Later that night I found it on Amazon for $50! Brand New. Couldn't pass it up any longer. I need to buy some a of the great figures that they have released for it. The finish on it is a very flat black and will look dusty if you don't keep up on it. My brother did a comparison with the toy from our childhood and it night and day. I used to think the Toy was a amazing replica but it can't hold a candle to this thing.

I would love to see DS to a Ecto 1 with the lights and everything. They did a great job here and with the Knight Rider Kitt. Some people might say its to big but I think that makes it cool. Everyone who sees in my house always checks it out. If you are a BTAS fan then this is a must.
Well this was my first comic con of any sort and I must say I really enjoyed it. I know Grand Rapids isn't the biggest CC in the world but it packed a lot of great stuff. The highlights to me was meeting three of the four TMNT from the original movie and going to their Q&A panel which was ran by Ben of Court of Nerds, meeting Kevin Eastmen who was sign FREE autographs and seeing the Red Ranger from afar. Not to mention all the vendors with toys and other goods I can't afford. I did pick up some cool NES posters for my down stairs(Zelda and BTTF).

My son had a great time but of course was overwhelmed by some of the crowds. By noon you could barley get anywhere. It was packed! My only grip as it was just crazy busy. I did get to ask a question to the turtles in the panel and asked about what it was like going from such an intense gritty movie to TMNT 2 which is light and more aimed at kids. Leif Tilden(Don) basically said it was hard going from a movie with a goal and vision to a movie that was more "like a party". Also said TMNT 1990 was not a violet movie like a lot of parents labeled it and that a dark movie is ok. Life isn't always sun shine and flowers. A great panel.

Next year is suppose to be even bigger so I can't wait. Here is what I went home with.
Random Movie Thoughts

I went into Ghostbusters with an open mind. Its one of my fav movies ever and cartoons. Toys, video games. I love everything. I didn't freak at the all female cast or the terrible theme song by Fall Out Boy and a awful trailer. Is it the the GB reboot I wanted? No not by a long shot but its been so long I thought whatever. Its just good to see Ghostbusters on the screen again. I looked at this reboot and this movie like a "spoof" of the original GB. Its more over the top and the comedy comes first. Its is it own thing to me. Here's my quick random thoughts.

-A lot of the jokes miss. Like no one laughed in the theater. Some what awkward moments. I will say I think these actors and writers, directors work better with rated R stuff.

-Some stuff was funny and had me laughing but there are a lot of misses.

-Thought all the four girls had funny moments and fit in and had a role on the team that was used through out the movie.

-The comedy comes first. To me the Original GB is science fiction first and comedy second. This is a pure comedy. I prefer it the other way around.

-Loved the gear more than the I thought I would. The new way to open the trap and all that was great.

-You only see them trap one ghost!!

-The new Ecto shots were pretty great. Don't care for the car as much but thought it was well showed.

-The Villain was lacking. Should have had a better actor.

-Thor was pretty funny. He had the least comedy misses.

-Really enjoyed Kate McKinnon. I love her on SNL so that isn't surprising. My wife thought she was too much of a cartoon at times which I can see.

-McCarthy is held on a lease since we know she does better when she can yell f words.

-I really liked all the proton throwing and use. Lots of ghosts get toasted by beams(but not crazy about that) . My only gripe with the Original GB is that THEY DON'T BUST ENOUGH GHOSTS! Here they do that but only trap one... so mixed bag.

-The ending is alright, nothing really funny happens in the 3rd act. The big ghost gets taken down by chance and comedy which is like "mehhhh" The original you thought ok these guys are giving their lives and crossing the streams to save NYC. Again science before comedy. With Slimmer driving Ecto into the vortex...Comedy first.

-Seeing all the busters in random roles was a bit off. I only liked Hudson's since he had the funnest line. Thought all the others were lame or misses on the comedy.

-Movie goes blue screen crazy in the end. Looks terrible at times. I'm not a fan of ton of special effects.

-This leads to my biggest issue. The special effects are awful. I hate the choice that was made to make everything look like a fruit snack. Its like they hired the special effects guy from the Casper movie to do the ghosts and special effects. The effects in the original look far better and these effects will cause the movie to age poorly. From the proton streams to the ghosts. The 1984 effects are more real. This to me goes back to the comedy first thing. Its the only thing about the movie I couldn't stand or hated.

-Ghosts are destroyed my proton streams alone?

-Looks like there will be a second movie.

Its not great or bad. Its a mix bag to me and I think a lot of kids will enjoy it which is a good thing since Ghostbusters is for kids. I never thought it was scary and think some RGB episdoes are scarier. That being said the grown up in me would like to see a more serious and scarier Ghostbusters. One that is aimed at me, and it looks like Sony is willing to really use the licence now so who knows. I know this spoof one will go on to make a second but I really hope we get a science first one.

Random Wrestling Thoughts

It was a time of transition for the WWF but they turned out some decent moments in those lean years. This rumble and the 94 rumble are my favorite because Bret Hart is involved in the endings. This Rumble has some lows and highs but a fun re-watch over all. Not going to lie I watched only parts of some of the matches besides the championship match and the Rumble. I just don't have 3 hours to watch and break down Ahmed Johnson and Faarooq is a potato throwing match.

-Hunter starting to come into his own here. At this point you didn't know who was going to get that push. Him or Goldust. Both good workers but Goldust to me was just to odd to push to any main event status. His best was work and feud was with Brian Pillmen and everything is sorta "meh". Hunter was the better of the two at this point.

-Vader and Undertaker have a slow lumbering match. I've never made it any secret that I don't enjoy watching Taker matches. He's always bored me. Nothing different here. I was bored. I do think Vader never got credit for being a talented big guy. I mean the man missed a moon salt off the top rope in every match he was in. He had the skill just not much appeal. Vader got a nice push at this point and got the win after Bearer did his thing with the ref not looking.

-Michaels and Sid put on a decent match. Shawn does a good job putting on a show for the home crowd. Sid was a great nut ball at this point that he was a liked heel. He never seemed to get booed ever. Shawn breaks the 4th wall by hitting Sid with the camera which leads to sweet chin music. Shawn has a awkward moment where he hugs Vince and shakes his ass in his face as he celebrate. Too bad he loses his smile a few months later.

-Stone cold goes the distance in this thing and is the only reason from it getting boring with such a thin roster at the time

-So many masked wrestlers that never saw WWF tv again. Again, the roster was just gutted at this time.

-Owen Hart and Bulldog have a funny moment when Owen knocks out bulldog.

-Jerry the King Lawyer with a very funny moment while announcing his song plays and he states he's in the rumble only to be thrown out in a few seconds and then sits back down and starts announcing again. Great comedy.

-Flash Funk takes a hell of a bump when he thrown over the ropes by Vader. Looked painful.

-Fake Diesel/Dr.Issac/Kane makes an appearance. Looks to be in great shape. Glad Kane made him, he's a great big man worker.

-Hahaha the Sultan...

-The moment when Stone Cold clears the ring and than Bret comes out is a awesome moment with the look on Stone Colds face.

-Rock is still Rocky here and the first person he attacks once in the ring is Stone Cold. Some foreshadowing here.

-Good to see Terry Funk. He's so old he botches a pile driver and can't get Bret up.. They just fall over.

-Vader gives some stiff punches that no one seems to enjoy.

-Mankind and Funk do some good stuff.

-Great ending with Stone Cold being tossed by Bret Hart. The refs don't see it since they are getting Funk and Mankind split up. Stone Cold jumps back in and throws out a tangled Taker and Vader and then tosses Bret who just tossed fake Diesel. Bret of course goes crazy and shakes Vince at the booth. This is the start of the Heel Hart coming out. The full turn takes place at WM 13 in maybe the best match of all time imo.
Like I said this Rumble has some lows and highs and some pretty big time moments in some of these wrestlers history. I give it 6 Sultans out of 10.

Random Movie Thoughts

I decided to pick this up for $5 of amazon and give it a re-watch. I haven't watched it some time but this has to be the most underrated Batman,DC,Super hero movie ever! My mother took me to this on my birthday, the day it came out since I loved the show so much. I was one of the few who went. WB really botched this thing. At first it was suppose to be direct to VHS but then changed direction and went to the big screen and gave the team 8 months!! to get it out and boy did they. That is where the good decisions in the marketing come to an end. They pushed out a awful trailer, no good TV ads, very little toys. They just screwed it up. The movie cost 6 million to make and only made 5 million in the theaters. After home release it made money. The talent did its job but WB didn't do theirs.

I might move it up my top 10: Batman list. It has very little issues and has everything you could want in a Batman movie. Its better than BvS... Easily. I won't get into that right now.

-Love the BTAS style. Glad that team did this movie.

-The new Phantom character is great. It has a super natural moments and you never know how the tricks are pulled off.

-This movie has three hair raising moments. The first, The Phantom has a great line. "Your Angel of Death Awaits". Creepy.

-The way they wrap a origin story, love and the plot of the Phantom murdering old mob guys is pure genius and amazing editing and writing. It flows so well and well paced. If Snyder was given this it would have been a pure mess. Ok no more BvsS hating.

-Its a really dark kids movie. I mean brutal deaths of these mob bosses. Not to mention blood, cuts, guns and aggressive fighting. Not sure if its PG by today's standards.

-The voice acting of course is some of the best you'll see. Hamill's Joker is bare none one of the best Jokers ever. Conroy blows any other animated Batman out of the water and should be in the convo as best Bats in any movie. Stacy Keach is a creepy Phantom and we get Abe freaking Vigoda.

-With a bigger budget they got use a choir in some of the music. Just beautiful stuff that makes the scenes

-Hair raising scene number two. When Batman puts on the cowl for the first time and Alfred is scared of Bruce. The music along with the moment is one that sticks with you.

-The movie does have a great mix of serious tones, action and funny stuff(Joker's rocket pack) .

- The old mob guys death... Jesus.. PG my ass.

-Batman gets pretty beat up in the final act. Suit is ripped up, Joker loses a tooth, bloody nose... Again PG..OK.

-The twist of who the Phantom is again just great writing and they tie all the lose ends up. Motivation of the characters are clear and executed. Looking at you Snyder... OK I'll stop.

-Hair raising scene number 1, when Hamill gets to unleash his best Joker laugh and maybe the best in the history of cinema. All Hell as broke loose and fire is raining down. Joker is ready to take Batman with him and die. He lets out the Joker Laugh of all time.

If WB ever gives this thing a Blu-Ray release you have my money. Its sad its so discarded(like TMNT one). Yet Batman and Robin get Bluray releases... Makes no sense. Give me a BR in 1080p and cleaned up(it will never happen). Its amazing and if you haven't seen it than shame on you. If you love Batman and haven't watched it in a long time than watch it. I think it gets better with age. Cartoon or not this is Batman. If WB ever made this into a live action movie and just went scene by scene.. Mother of God.
The theater has let us down at one time or another and its these movies where we are screaming for our money back. Please comment any of your worst movies!

10.Dune (RT 56%)

I just finished the book and wow what mind blowing piece of literature. I can't wait to read the next book. As for the movie?? Ehhh its a mess. Its impossible to cram this book into 2 hours. It has to be 3 hours or two parts. The acting is not great and the Baron is totally weird. Like disgusting. Hes a evil asshole in the book but not gross. And whats with the rain at the end? There was a 3 hour version that just hit the net with all the parts they cut from the movie which helps a lot! But it has since be removed..... If HBO ever gave this thing a Game of Thrones treatment..MY GOD.

9.Mission to Mars(RT 25%)

As a pre teen the trailer had me pumped. I have always been into Mars and I thought it looked awesome. I knew I was in trouble when it came back with a PG rating. The terrible Alien at the end.....ehhhhhhhhh.

8.Any Spiderman Movie (RT 89% 93% 63%)

I don't get it. I never got it at the time. People went banana's for the first Spiderman and I didn't understand why. 2nd one came out and again people loved it. I hated it. People called me nuts. I like me some Sam Rami too but its garbage. Then the 3rd..... a Dance scene? What the hell is going on? It grossed WHAAAAT? It pretty much assured me that people will like anything no matter how terrible it is. I will admit that I don't really like Marvel or SpiderMan but it can be done better then the last two tries. I hear they are going for a 3rd reboot. Good luck.

7.The Happening(RT 17%)

I didn't even want to see this since I hadn't liked M night since Signs but the wife pushed me into the theater. We laughed the whole way through. The over acting and Mark Wahlberg staring at the camera asking "IT CAN'T BE THE WIND CAN IT?" RUN FROM THE WIND! Is that even possible? We wanted to leave but we were laughing so we stayed.

6.Ghost Rider (RT 26%)

It was February, we wanted to go out. We chose this for reasons unknown to me. We left a hour in and I haven't seen it since. Was their a sequel? Not worthy enough for my google search bar.

5.Mortal Kombat Annihilation(RT 3%)

I was a huge MK fan and after the first movie which at the time as "ok"(not now) I was hoping to see more of my favorite characters. Well that is what we got and what a mess. MK characters would just randomly drop out of the sky(literately) and FIGHT! The acting was terrible, special effects were laughable and the script was pure shit. I'm surprised it this saw the light of day. FINISH..H...TURN IT OFF!

4.Indiana Jones...4 (RT 78%)
Such a huge disappointment. It was fun seeing Ford back on the screen as Indie but Lucas can't get out of his own way. I enjoyed the first 30 mins ans then it just goes south with insane situations. Ok you can blow up and survied in a fridge... But when you swing with monkeys and catch back up to the car...THAT WHERE I DRAW THE LINE. Also the plot as a whole just was boring. UFO crap? Ugh.. I'll watch any of the 3 anytime but I refuse to watch this junk.

3.Star Wars Episode II (RT 67%)

Episode I was boring but the last 15 mins saved it from being on this list. This one is just a snoozer all the way. The last light Saber fight with Yoda,Skywalker and the Count had the crowd laughing(at least in my theater). There was nothing cool about this Star Wars, cheese acting and zero on screen chemistry from the Skywalker and Padme. Lucas again just botched this thing. I again will watch all of them besides this thing. Unless I am trying to fall a sleep.

2.Batman and Robin (RT 11%)

This movie turned me off from Batman anything for 8 years! I was totally done with it. I even blew off Begins until word started to fly that it was really good. This thing is just bloated bright and ugly.. With terrible casting and lines. It goes full cheese and fails. Batman 1966 has its place and its fits there. This thing was so bad the people involved have apologized for making it. I remember leaving the theater with my cousin and was both said "were done with Batman". That is hard to do to a 15 year old who loves Batman. This movie pulled it off.

1.Super Mario Bros(RT 16%)
Ok when the posters started showing up at the theater and word spread via news papers and magazines that there was going to be a SMB movie I flipped my lid. I day dreamed about seeing a real life Bowser. The castle, maybe his kids from SMB3? The possibilities seemed endless. What did we get? A human Bowser, parallel universes, Jurassic Park Yoshi, The Dinosaur song, a king who is a elastic goo.... Yes that sounds just like SMB.
I remember leaving the theater and even mom was like "what did we just watch?" I couldn't answer her. It was just awful and to this day I can't sit through it. You had the licence and you blew 40 mil. It grossed 20 mil... It sorta reminds me of what they did with He-man as in they had to some how have it based on on earth and why? Why? You had 40 million! Don't watch it!
Wow one year! Its been fun remembering and sharing things I enjoy and love with my 93 twitter followers and the 10 people who have visited the blog. I know I don't write in a ton of depth and it isn't a clear or well done but thanks to those who enjoy it and read it. A special thanks to the Sewer Den for leaving a few comments. I want to thank the two blog sponsors 8bitfetish and modifimyshop.com for providing great posters and products for me to review. Here is to another great year!
A while back I drew the sword of Omens at work. While it isn't perfect(or striaght, hey I'm not a artist) it did come out better than I expected. I let it sit in my closet for about a year not knowing what to do with it or if I should do anything with it.

Brings us to today, I was hanging this old crappy Euro Thundercats or CosmoCats! I thought, this isn't worth Jaga's dick. I should just use it as a back drop for my sword. I then started to clip away! I came away with this!
I'm pretty excited about this. Came out great. It did take some patience but it paid off. My free handed Sword of Omens pops right off the comics. I like this so much I think I am going to pull this off with my four 1st print issues of the Dark Knight Returns. I have a pretty beat up trade book I can cut up. Just finding the right frame will be the tricky part. I'll post if it comes out well.
After the first few reviews hit(RT 27%) my hopes were lowered so I just went to see Arnold. I felt he was pretty decent and I don't know if its better than 3 or salvation since I haven't watched them in a long time. I just stick to the fact that Cameron's T2(the best action movie ever IMO) tied up everything really tight and the last 3 are just for good old feelings or fun or farce. You can never top the pure awesomeness and greatness of T1 and T2. On to the random thoughts!

Might be spoilers

-As soon as the machine grabbed Conner as Reese was time traveling, that is when Biff stole the time machine.

-Some people say this movie shits on Cameron's since the alternate time stuff but when time travel is a thing.. It gives you a licence to fuck with things.

-I thought Clarke made a good Sarah but not as intense as Hamilton/

-Courtney was terrible. He had zero on screen presence and no chemistry with Clarke as Reese.

-Jason Clarke was ok as John Conner, thought letting the cat out of the bag that he was a Terminator in the trailer was a mistake. No surprises.

-They keep killing any potential of the franchise with this PG-13 crap. Its meant to be R. Arnold's face should have been ripped up big time after some crashes but was clean most the movie. Not much carnage at all. A few T1000 stabs was about it. I would say Jurassic Park was closer to a R rating.

-The action isnt much to talk about. Can't hold a candle to T2. A movie from 1991...

-I will always say special effects cheapen a movie and gives less to its weight. Its the case here.

-John Conner gets stuck to a MRI machine and we have no clue how he gets off it. Arnold turns into a t1000 in the end and have no idea how he came back on or anything.

-A few funny moments with Arnold. Nothing feels organic. Just forced but some what funny.

-Nice machine fights scenes, lots of walls took damage, Even a pop machine was a victim.

-They built a time machine in 1984....So..there is that.

-The Dragon Princess is pretty hot.

-They could have expended more on this Skynet AI who always has been in charge. Didn't give us a lot.

-Seeing young Arnold was great, made me just want to watch T1 instead.

These movies prove that James Cameron is a genius. Without his direction you have no shot. People give the performances of a life time in T1 and T2. Edward Furlong of all people is amazing in T2. Cameron just brings the best out of his talent. I just feel the acting and even Arnold struggle to be even ok. Its like they are doing impressions of these characters now and not being them. It doesn't help that Courtney kills about any scene he is in. I just never felt connected to any of the characters or cared like I did in T2 when the T-800 is lowered into the lava. I was moved than cause the acting, directing, music and everything was at such a high level. The chemistry was there. It just isn't here in this one or the past two. The first two are the real Terminator movies and the last three are just pretenders doing their best impression.

I give it 4 Edward Furlongs out of 10

I've always hated my cable provider. I just feel like I have little options and little power and have to pay out the butt for anything I really would want. I've been with Direct TV(which hasn't been as bad as Charter) for the last 2 years and I'm happy to say I'm ready to cancel.

I started hearing some rumblings at work about the Amazon fire stick and how this media program could give you live tv,movie channels,PPV.. Basically everything. Now I was pretty skeptical and stubborn since I a huge sucker for my HD sports. How good was the quality? Can I really watch good looking live TV with little to no hiccups? As for getting the Fire Stick to do this I would need to side load the Kodi program and all its "add-ons". After reading and watching some videos about it I was pretty sure I could do but I just didn't have the time with two kids ect ect. So I went to Ebay where Sellers are in fierce competition to sell these TV wonder sticks.

I found a great seller Derek, or modifi.myshopifycom on ebay. I sent some questions out to many sellers looking for the best seller who knew what they were selling and talking about. Derek came back with the quickest and most info about my questions. I highly recommend him when buying a fire stick since I know he will take care of you and does have 100% feedback. He also puts the Kodi launch app right on the home screen so you can jump right into it, not all sellers do this. It can be hard to know which one to buy since there are so many sellers. Go to Derek, he even sends easy to follow paper instructions. Check out his auction here! and his website here!

I got my stick in about 2 days and plugged it up. Everything was going great until I tried to stream live tv which would go for a few seconds then buffers FOREVER! I couldn't get any of the movie to load either. Whats the deal? So I tested my internet speeds and found them to be terrible. I was getting anywhere from 14 mbps to 28 mbps. I pay for 60 mbps! So I called up Charter and they recommend that I try a direct line to my computer than test the speed. Sure enough 60 mbps came blasting through. So my router was pretty old... and was choking my internet. I went out and bought the Netgear R6100 This router got me up to speed and it broadcast at 5hz which the stick can pick up and is easily faster then the standard 2.4hz. Once my stick was connected to its new network(footLAN......) everything was as smooth as butter. Live TV had no problems, movie loaded up at decent speeds. No buffering at all to date!

The Stick
It plugs and plays pretty much from the get go. You don't even have to have a Amazon account since Derek does all that before he ships it out. You can add your account if you want. There is some processing and waiting at times when you select things. You get the dreaded "waiting" spinner which if it goes on for a while it means the content isn't going to load. It got hung up on me a few times and has crashed once but you have to remember it is a stick and ram can only do so much. Its amazing it holds and does what it does with such limited ram. In no way a deal killer. Not even close. Now I can't comment on how the Amazon box works which has more processing power but it will cost you a bit more. I can deal with a few moments of waiting. If the content is there to load(which is most the time) it boots right up in great speeds.

LIVE TV

Espn, NLF network, NBA TV, Comedy Central ,E and a bunch of crazy channels I have never even heard of work most the time on IPTV Stalker(its a live tv add-on). There will be times when they just flat out won't load. Not sure the reason behind it but this isn't the case most the time and there are so many other add-ons with live tv like Navi-x or Sports dog that even if they are down in one add-on you can jump over to another and try those which will work. For the price of the stick this doesn't bother me but it might bothers some.

Most the time the quality is pretty close to HD if not HD but at times it can drop a bit. I watched the NBA finals and it was dropping a bit and that could be do to high volume traffic but I did jump around and find a pretty good stream. Once and while you might go to a stream that might be in Spanish or something like that. Did this when I was looking for CN for my son but again, you just go to the next CN stream until you find what you want.

You can also watch HBO,Showtime and all those channels but I really don't see the point if you can just watch things on demand or search for any movie you want.

With Live TV you just have to be willing to look around if the first option doesn't work. You'll get what you want but like I said that isn't the case most the time. It works pretty well. There is also a add-on for local stations but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Movies
This where the KODI program really shines. Derek has it settings so the "movies" tab will take you right to the "Genesis add-on" which I think so far is the best movie add-on. Navi-X is good too just not as user friendly. Genesis will have all the newest movies or the most popular movies that you can watch right as soon as you hit the movies tab. You can also search for whatever. I wanted to watch "Castaway" for some odd reason and and it came right up and watched it with no issues. Newer movies are always in HD and older movies can be DVD quality. When you chose a movie a list of links load with the movie you chose. More than not the first one will work, if not just go to the next and one will work. Or you can hit "auto play" which will play the first working link. I never use it since the first one works 99% of the time.

There is a kids zone tab where its just kids movies which my son loves. They even have kid tv shows. They have all the DUCK TALES FERGODSAKE! Lots of great kids content. Again most work, most the time but there is so much stuff the kids has option ABCDEFGHI...ect ect.

TV on demand

Again, just a amazing thing. I can watch Game of Thrones, True Detective... Orange is the new Black... Anything on TV really, you can watch on demand. It won't take more then a day or so after the latest episode for it to show up to view.

I even found out I can watch TMNT 2K3, Thundercats, Real Ghostbusters, Knight Rider, Batman ......M.A.S.K... Its all there! Tracking down 2k3 turtles is very pricey. Now they are all at my finger tips. Same with Thundercats. Its all here for me to watch whenever. My 8 year old self would have crapped its pants.

So buy it??

Oh.My.God.Yes... If you are looking to be a cord cutter but the other options never seemed good enough to do it? This is the stick that will have you pulling the trigger. Once you learn the ins and out and play with it a bit you will feel right at home and you can't believe you paid a thousand dollars a year for cable. Is it going to match the live HD you get with cable? No, but it isn't far off. Some times the stream is so good it does look like I'm watching my Direct TV.

Even as a pure movie watcher and say you just need it for that its worth it. It has more than Netflix. For the one time fee its more then worth it. Buy it and hope to god Amazon never patches it which I hear might not matter anyway. Kodi has been running on the stick for over a year so things are pretty promising going forward. If you have more question contact Derek at his Ebay store.
-cheap price
-Genesis add-on is amazing
-Good support(Derek will update the device to v.15, just have to pay shipping)
-Stick picks up 5hz wifi for even faster speeds to reduce any buffering
-Kids add-ons with everything.

Cons
-Live TV can be hit or miss.
-Learning Curve
-Some non working things but usually work later or even a re-click
-"Working" hate when it goes on forever leaving you stuck

Tips
-Make sure your router and internet speed is up to snuff. I had to buy a new router since my old one was only pushing 15-22 mbps and the stick could not stream anything without a decent router. Check your speed at speedtest.net to make sure you getting proper speeds.
-Go for 5hz signal router if you do buy a new one.
-Use Genesis and save your favs to the save folder.
-Things will go down from time to time for maintenance.

I want to thank Derek again for the great deal on the stick and and all the help when I had questions. Make sure to swing by his Ebay store.
Jurassic World(RT 71%)

Well I'll say this right off the bat. It's the 2nd best JP easily. The first one will just always have a special place in my heart. I really liked the pace of the movie as it started out slow and then started to thump along to end at a fast and furious finish. If you liked the first you will for sure enjoy this one as it gives you the same sense of hopelessness and having no power over these animals.

Might be some Spoilers

-Of course there are kids in this, its like a JP movie rule I guess.

-Loved the nods all over the movie to the original JP. They are everywhere! Some in you're face and some in the background.

-It looks like a real park. If this was a real thing, that is what it would look like.

-The comedy relief guy in the control room was pretty funny. Loved the t-shirt joke.

-I hated the Claire character. I know we are suppose to not like her but she was so annoying, I just wished she wasn't there. Her haircut drove me nuts and shes on her cell phone 90% of the movie.

-Pratt was decent, I didn't feel like we really got to know his character. He was just there to solve the problems and was the only one that had any sense most the time.

-Lots of death in this one. The highest body count of any JP. I enjoyed that part as they wiped one person out after another. The only downside is I can't take my son to it.

-They made great use of giant fish dinosaur.. thing.

-Some things were just ridiculous. Pratt riding along with Raptors. The Raptors pulling a Hollywood Hogan Heel turn and then going baby face back to the Yellow and Red Hulk Hogan. The Hoskins character in general was ridiculous, "This is happening with or without you!" Hey do you know any other man on planet Earth that can whisper to Raptors? I think you need him.

-Getting to see lots of cool park attractions.

-The kids wondering into the old park which was overgrown was great. That stuff excites me for whatever reason. Wish they could have been there longer.

-The last battle with the T-Rex and D-Rex was pretty awesome. The way D-Rex went was great too. Pure summer glee.

-Wished they would use a real Dino instead of this genetic freak D-Rex. Hell, use Spinosaurus again for all I care.

Jurassic World turned out a lot better then I thought it would be. It does have ridiculous parts but then again Dinos are alive in this world too. Go take a visit to the park, its the best one since the first.
As a kid when these intros hit I was going crazy. Ready to jump into whatever world I was going to enter. I don't think today's intros are even in the same league as these. Hell some don't even bother with one. To me this is the best of the best. First lets check out what just missed the cut.

Pro Stars-Michael Jordan, BoJackson and The great one all team up. Great theme song.
Mario Bro 3- SMB3 now a Cartoon? sign me up.
Jem-I didn't watch this............every morning before school.
Cops-Very Raw intro, pretty good.
Sliver Hawks-Just missed the cut. Would be 11th. Lots of awesome rock.

10.American Gladators

It was always very late on a Saturday night. Around Midnight. My dad and I would watch the news and then some other crappy show(can't remember) and then bam! The intro of all these steroided freaks being introduced so they could go on to beat the crap out of the common man. My dad and I would bet dimes on the competitors... Ahh gambling with you're father over AG, heart touching memories.

9.X-Men

I had to run the whole way from the bus stop to make this intro. I always did too. I didn't want to miss the drama with the Phoenix Saga or if Logan was going score with Jean. I intro blasts you in the face with a catchy tune and all the x-men.

8.M.A.S.K

This Intro is very 80s. Reminds me of the soundtrack for the Transformers movie from around the same time. This is pure rock and its awesome. The show I felt was not as good as the toys. Loved the toys... The Show was alright.

7.Ducktales

Talk about catchy.. This thing used to get stuck in my head for what it felt like the whole episode. The show was great too.

6.Pee-Wee Playhouse

If you weren't awake yet on Saturday when this came on than you were after this intro. Talk about high energy. I loved the claymation that it starts out with. Pretty decent length as well.

5.Batman the Animated Series

There isn't many things that hit the tone and style of Batman on the head like the show and intro did in BTAS. I used to get so pumped when the Batmobile is rolling. Just an outstanding and dark intro that sets the tone for the show. I could easily do a top 10 BTAS episode list.

4.The Real Ghostbusters

It was hard putting this at 4 since I would go banana's when this came on. It was the number one show I look forward to for some time. The intro is great, we get Stay Puff, Ecto and everything with a a Ghostbuster theme that rivals the movies. They did change it up in season 3 or 4 when the show started to go south. The change was for the worse, along with song.

3.TMNT

Man this intro just kicks your ass. Not to mention how catchy it is. I remember it getting stuck in my head all day. Seemed like every kid at school was humming it too. The intro is a bit dark which is great and the way the show started but as season 3 came it seemed to get lighter.

2.Knight Rider

One man and one car driving through a desert is all I needed to get me hyped for Knight Rider. Not to mention one of the best 80s theme songs... Might be the best. Its my ringtone and listen to it on my phone as a MP3. Non fans know it. Match the theme song with some great shots from show and car flying in the desert and you had me sucked in. The voice over is perfect as well.

1.Thundercats

This was easily number 1. The "Thunder..Thunder... THUNDERCATS HO! Would have me running to grab my sword of omens to follow along in the action. Its such a action packed intro that it sucks you right in. Animation is outstanding and seeing things like the Thundertank ripping through the screen locks you into the show. For whatever reason I also loved the shiny logo at the end too. Just perfect.
The Movie

-This movie is more about the new characters then Liono and his gang, which is bold considering the kids want the Lord of the Thundercats.

-They do a great job of packing in a ton of villains and other characters. It could be a mess but the pace is so fast and goes well within the story it works. They show everything 3rd Earth has to offer.

-Cheetara calls Lion-o "impetuous".. I'm sure the kiddos got that one.

-Lion-o looks like a smurf when Snowman finds him.

-They introduce a ton of new vehicles and toys here.

-Marketing was strong for a new toy line for the shelves.

-The Fistpounder was awesome toy. Loved it. Huge too.

-Cliff Hanger freeze frames. Must have been for the VHS release.

-Story telling is never a problem for Thundercats. Same with it here. We get more back story which dives us deeper into the universe that is Thundercats.

-I would love to know the official count on how many times Lion-o lost the Sword of Omens in the shows history.

-Action is non stop. The story telling still finds a way to be amazing.

-Thundertank vs Fistpounder!

-Lynx-o is very Jaga or Yoda. Like his blind angle.

-Lion-o throwing Mum-Mutt like a baseball is hilarious. Only thing that could have topped it was if he punted him, then Mumm-ra freaks out on the mutants about losing his dog.

-"hair caught"... lol

-I like how they call them Thundera Country Men.

-Panthro must be one bad mammer jammer, lives through the Thundertank laying on him.

-The ending was sorta like Guardians of the Galaxy. Mumm-ra just couldn't handle the power.

-Great moment when Lion-O makes the three new comers Thundercats.
God I wish I could see this in HD. It will never happen but man... How awesome. There is lots of reds so the poor quality can takes it tole on the eyes. Pretty odd how they took the first 5 episodes of season two and just boxed it into a VHS and called it a Thundercats Movie. Its the closet thing we got to one so I'll take it. I do think its very good. Non -stop action with good story telling. Not to mention you get a ton of characters.
Back with the latest poster from 8bitfetish. I was going to go with The Legend of Zelda but changed my mind and decided to finish off the Turtle wall with the Original NES game. Now I know there is the Manhattan project but I never got into that one since the SNES had hit the scene at that point. I still think the cover art is great but I just don't connect with it.

Of course the poster is of 8bitfetish high quality with dark blacks and popping greens. It looks stunning next to the other two posters. I am glad I went this route. The cover of this game confused me as a kid cause they all had red. Instead of the blue, orange and purple. At that point I had no idea that the Turtles was even a comic. I just thought it was some mistake. I remember talking about the the cover art at the lunch table and asking friends if they noticed the mistake.

After reading the comics now, it came to light that this cover art came straight from TMNT issue 4.

Must be when they were coming up with ideas for covers some guy at the table said "Hey why don't we just rip a cover from one of the comics? Cheap and saves time!" I do love the cover art since its a intense battle and its just edging like the turtles should be but I do think it loses a few points for just ripping issue 4. Since Turtles was blowing up I am sure the game was pushed asap and that had something to do with it. In fact I would say more people identify this cover with the game more then the comic.

The game its self.... One of the most frustrating things you will ever pop into you're NES. This game was the first game I ever rented, I remember still loving it even though the game kicked my ass for hours. I even got it got Christmas.. See:

Now I could be frustrated everyday. Santa brought me the greatest Mario ever and coal basically. I will say I did play it like crazy despite how hard it was. It was the first turtle game and I didn't care how hard it was or that it was nothing like the show(you don't remember chain saw guy?) . I wanted to see Shredder so bad but it never happened. I could only reach the part where you drive the Turtle van around. I was dead meat after that. The game just throws a shit ton of bad guys at you with impossible platforming. That is why arcade(part 2) was such a big hit. It was like the cartoon and beatable. I still think its fun to play and revisit. But I can't take much of it. I like the cover art a lot more than the game. I want to thank 8bitfetish again for sending their amazing posters and if you are interested in buying this TMNT one you can find it here for $11.99 with fast and free S&H.

Star Wars has pushed out a ton of games. A lot of crap and some great ones. There are so many games that peoples top 10 would all look different. I always couldn't wait until the latest Star Wars game was released, no matter what it is.

I thought Masters was going be amazing. I mean a fighting game with Star Wars? What could go wrong? Its the biggest pile of shit I have ever played. It would be in a top 10 worse games ever for me. What a let down. Anyway on to the good stuff!

10.Star Wars Revenge of the Sith PS2

I don't think this game got any credit or maybe its just bad and a guilty pleasure of mine but I found this game to be pretty solid. The Jedi powers were fun and so were the saber fights. Even the "VS" mode was fun and way better then anything Masters of crap ever was.

9.Star Wars Monopoly PC

I remember getting my first PC and coming home to play this as it was the only game I had for PC. Not much to say about it. I did think the animations were amazing at the time. Why is it at 9? Just good fuzzy memories.

8.Star Wars Galaxy PC

My friend made this game his life for a few years. Married some women(who ended up being a man), had a ton of money and a huge house on Dantoonie. I joined up and was given a land speeder by him and some money. Had a blast traveling to different systems and planets(getting my ass kicked). Hanging out in cantina wearing a stormtrooper helmet I got in a trade from some bounty hunter. I was really starting to get it going and then one day I was out on a mission in the middle of no where when a Dark Jedi(which is like seeing a unicorn..they are that rare) came running up on me! This asshole stole everything I had and broke my land speeder... I had to run naked back to my house which took.. hours! I quit the game that day. If not for that dark jedi this game might be in the top 3.

7.Super Star Wars Return of the Jedi SNES

Played the hell out of this game as a kid. Its so crazy. You dodge things non stop . It was my favorite because of the three games on SNES this was the one I could beat. I enjoyed the light saber battle with Vader as I would sometimes pop it in and just use the code to get my fix to fight Vader.

6.Star Wars Rogue Squadron N64

Was a fun game that came with the "ram pack" for better graphics. Of course we swore up and down we could tell the difference(we couldn't). This game was challenging and once I beat it I never played it again but I did have a a lot of fun with it.

5.Star Wars the Force unleashed Xbox360

This game was really fun. It was a bit to easy but just a fun game where you got use any and all force powers on steroids. Found the story pretty interesting too. If I had played this game in middle school I would have crapped myself and called it the best SW game ever. To bad the 2nd game fell short.

4.Star Wars Battle Front II PS2

I was a huge Socom fan in the PS2 days and this sounded like the perfect marriage. Socom+Star Wars=Battle Front. I enjoyed the first one but I think the 2nd one was far better. It was just mindless fun. Just roaming around owning people on the battlefield. I did think the Jedi were cheap and screwed up some battles but outside of that its just great fun. The new one coming out has me thinking about buying next gen... If I ever have money.

3.Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic II Xbox

After playing the first one I was pretty hyped for this. Now I played this years after its release(like the first one) and outdated graphics didn't phase me at all. Its just amazing game. Love the more options this one gives you(clothing options ect). Now the story isn't as strong and the last boss battle is crazy hard and just doesn't have the charm of the first one but its still one of the best SW games ever made. The story to this day is still left hanging...

2.Star Wars Shadows of the Empire N64

I got this game petty quick after I got my N64 and my cousin and I played the hell out of it for a week. We couldn't get enough. Some of it had to do with it being the first adventure 3D game we had ever played and the other is it just kicks ass. From the Hoth battle to chasing down Boba Fett. The story is pretty damn solid and makes for a better movie then "Attack of the Clones". I beat this game so many times I have lost count. Some levels are so long but worth the reward of pushing the great story along. Some other great moments are fighting IG-88 on the junk planet, using the rocket back pack and blowing up the sky hook. Dash Rendar you will not be forgotten.

1.Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic Xbox

This game is not only my favorite star wars game but would be one of my favorite games ever. I became sucked in while working 3rds. Every night I couldn't wait to get to work to see what happened next. The combat took me a while to get used to and understand but once I did.. I couldn't get enough. The story just sucks you in and has a twist in the end that I some how didn't see coming. I think collecting things, making good or bad choices and the combat is put at a perfect pace.

The characters were likable and entertaining. This game brought way more joy then the prequels and is just better story telling. I would love to see this made into a movie. It will never happen unfortunately. Now if we could just get a 3rd one(not a online game) that continues the story, after II they just leave you hanging which still makes me wonder what happened with these characters and will we ever find out? I plan on going a 2nd play through soon and enjoyed being the hero last time. I plan on taking the dark side on the next go around. If you are a Star Wars fan and never played this game.. Track it down now!

This is a little off topic(ok a lot) but I just left Sprint for Ting . Just figured I share my experience. I know a lot of people who feel held prisoner in their contacts while paying a fortune(my wife). I decided no more! No more being bent over! So I went and searched for a cheaper service but trying not to lose what I had. With Sprint I had unlimited everything and I was paying for it. For both my wife and I it was $170 a month.

After looking around I found Ting and Straight Talk to be the finalist. Straight Talk for $45 for unlimited everything seemed like a steal but I would have to buy a new phone and I do like the one plusone phone which is affordable and a great phone. Then after some digging ST had a bad rep for customer service... Like brutal. Also people stating they were getting calls from telemarketers after signing up.

I then looked at Ting. With Ting you just pay for what you use and they have these tiers.

So after looking at my uses on Sprint I then put those into the Ting Calculator and determined this would be my uses. So it is even cheaper then ST for me. I also like the idea of being in control so if I want to scale back on something I can and it will make my bill cheaper.

It uses the Sprint Network which I am used to and works fine for me. I also could port my Note 2 and my number over with no issues, saving me from buying a new phone. After reading up on Ting it was clear that their customer care was the best in the industry as they all speak English and do bother you with taking surveys. No pressure to "upgrade you" or sell you on anything.

So Ting seemed to be for me. My contract with Sprint was up and all I was going to do was use my insurance plan(that I paid $11 for every month) to clear up a crack on my phone's screen before leaving for greener pastures. Since the screen my Note 2 needed was not in stock, get this... They gave me a new Note 2...lol So after getting my new Note 2 I headed home to jump ship to Ting after taking Sprint for everything they had on their insurance plan(I felt like I won). Signing up was painless and they switched my number and phone over in like 3 hours(some people reported days with ST). Also no contract!

So far I haven't noticed anything different. My service is the same. I just make sure I am on Wifi everywhere I go so I do not use much data. I am shooting for the $3 data tier right now which would cut my bill into the $20s which feels insane to me. They have a clear and easy app you can use to watch your usage or just log onto the site.

I wish I could get my wife on Ting but she went out and leased a phone in November so she has a $350 ETF which is nuts so she is stuck over paying for the time being. I even did the math and we would still save money this year if we did get her out of it and bought her a new phone but I just don't have $500 laying around to make the jump. Once we do we will be paying like $70ish for phones as a family instead of $170! Huge savings. Now for you who ETF is a lot lower Ting does offer $75 credit for jumping to them.

I do find it a bit scary not having insurance(but saving $11 a month is nice) and if anything happens to my phone its on me. No store either but That does not bother me since I hated going into Sprint and Tings customer service is so good. I think people don't know they do have have options and don't need to pay out the ass anymore for a phone. If Sprint is good in your area I think you are a dummy for not jumping to Ting, also if you are not someone who is sucking data and 4G all day as well.

Google just announced Fi which imo will change the game forever. The Big 2 will have troubles matching $20 for unlimited txt and talk plus $10 per gig per month. Also if you only use 500 mbs then you get a refund of $5 for the 500 you didn't use. The service will use the t-moble and Sprint network which is a first industry. Right now its in Beta and only the Nexus 6 can be used but within a year I think that will all change. Once FI gets it traction I plan on jumping to it. Ting is great but this is even cheaper. It will spell major trouble for Verizon and AT&T if they don't adjust.

Pros
-Great Customer service
-pay for what you use
-no contact
-No activate fee(more like charging you for the hell of it fee)
-great app and site for watching usage
-Lots of phones to pick from(all the big boys)
-One Plusone now on Ting!

Cons
-Sprint network for some people
-Watching usage maybe hard for people
-No store
-No insurance

If any of my experiences change I will update this post.

Now if you think Ting is for you.. Use my shameless link! You will get $25 off your first bill!
Yay for leaks! Now Snyder is saying the one that will be shown Monday will have even more. I'm sure this was it but now that leak stole some thunder they feel like they need to show a bit more.
I'm pretty excited that we get a Batman movie that will borrow(I hope a lot from) some things from Frank Millers's the Dark Knight Returns which is my favorite comic..ever. What I am not excited about is that Snyder is charge of this thing. I just don't dig his style. To much CGI for my taste. I hope he proves me wrong. On to the random thoughts!

-To much Superman! gaaa!

-To much of that Zack Snyder shinny CGI or cloudy? Don't even know how to describe it.

-Nice nod to the Riddler

-Batman is holding a rifle when hes standing on the top of the tower(Yes DKR nod!)

-Batman's suit in the rain battle is like the suit from the final fight with Superman in DKRs!!

-Rain battle looks very Matrix Revolution. Do we need the dramatic rain? Neo vs Smith...

-Like the voice and lines. Nothing came off as cheese imo.

-Not enough Batman shots. That is what we want though. No one is seeing this for Superman... Ok not really true.

-Batmoblie!

I wouldn't call this a home run trailer that gets everyone going crazy(like the Star Wars one). It was a bit slow and dark which is fine but just did't have a lot of punch to it. I feel like this Batman movie will have some great moments but Zack Snyder's CGI hand will cheapen the feel of the film and it will just be ok. I'm still pumped for it but my expectations aren't sky high. I know what Zack Snyder brings and its always "meh".
Mario 3 is well.. My favorite NES game ever and.... THE BEST MARIO EVER. One day I will have to do my top 10 Mario games as this would easily be number 1 for me. The cover art its self while might not be as pretty as SMB 2 it is way more iconic. Mario showing off its best power up ever in the raccoon tail. 8bitfetish's print is beautiful and the yellow just pops off the paper. If you would like your own you can find it here. Any Hardcore Nintendo fan needs this poster in their house. The shirt is pretty damn awesome. Already a few people know its the SMB 3 and have gave me props. You can find the shirt here.
I remember the Christmas I got SMB 3 from Santa. I was pretty pumped since the game was hard to find do to it being so popular and if you were playing this game it meant you were pretty damn cool. As I played it through the Christmas break I would discover the flutes and what not. That is where the bragging would begin at school.
The game its self is I think is the most challenging of the Mario games. Its such a peer joy playing worlds 1-7 but once you get to world 8 you better hold onto your pants because this game has no mercy. You think its all fine too since you have built up so many lives... Its not fine... You will use them all more then likely. Hope you saved those P-wings. About a year ago I played it all night with a cousin of mine since he stated it was the only Mario he never beat. Around 4am in the morning we were battling for out lives. The tank and boat levels don't care about your feelings. Finally got to the castle and Bowser was kicking our ass(the hardest bowser battle easy). On guy zero I beat him.

There was a Mario 3 cartoon and I even loved that. Might have been one of the few kids to tune in every Saturday morning.
Random Movie Thoughts

Just finished up MOTU. Man what a trip and what a flop after the people behind this movie was promising it would be the star wars of the 80s.... Yup that didn't happen. Like I've mentioned before I enjoyed this Heman more then the cartoon version which I don't find to be that great. I am sure I wouldn't care for this movie if I didn't watch it so much as a kid because it has a ton of flaws but just find it fun to watch now. Watched it at work with some 10 year olds and they enjoyed it so it stands the test of time a bit.

-Let me get this out of the way first. This movie feels like a sequel to a movie that was never made. The first scene they drop you right into the action. Grayscull is now Skeletor's. Heman and his companions are out fighting for their lives. Why is the sorceress in a flashing beam? WHAT THE HELL DID WE MISS?!? We get zero origin on the events of what is going on in this world or who these people are and how they got there. Then you are thrown to earth where the movie is really about the two teens(boring). So to me this feels like we are picking up from the action of a prior movie... But we aren't. Odd. How kick ass would it have been if we had the first movie about the origin of Heman and how he came to be and in the end Skeletor takes over Grayskull leaving you hanging. Should have hired 5 year old me.

-Dolph is a good looking Heman but I don't know if he is a good Heman. To me he just seems like another side character. He has more of a role then Teela and Man at Arms but to me the movie isn't much about him.

-The scene with Heman listening to Skeletor's message to Eternia is pretty kick ass image.

-What is with this power that Skeletor is trying to get from the great eye? They just don't take the time to expand on any of this. Instead we are wasting time with the teens story at Robbie's Ribs.

-And why did this great power leave Skeletor when Heman broke his weapon? One moment you are shooting gold beams out of you're eyes at people and boom power gone. Couldn't tell you why.

-Bunch of odd characters that are not from the cartoon. Only cool one was Blade to me. The rest were forgettable.

-Frank Langella saves anything there is left to save in this movie. He kicks ass as Skeletor. He might be the only reason to watch this movie. He is scary, dark and merciless.

-No really.. Skeletor kick ass in this movie.

-I love the march anthem for Skeletor. I mean it isn't Darth Vader's but its pretty good.

-Gwildor adds some comic relief. Not much but the kids laughed at his car he outfits with some sort of Batmobile engine.

-How did he have time to outfit a Caddy with a Batmobile engine? I will never know.

-Special effects aren't bad for the time.

-Love the huge hover crafts Skeletor and his army march into earth on.

-Speaking of that march, where are the people in this city? The streets are empty. There are like no extras in this movie. Its like Batman 89.

- Skeletor's guards look like Darth Vader. Like these didn't even try.

-Heman steals their guns to much. To many laser shoot outs and not enough sword fighting.

-I want the cosmic key prop. It would look great by the family photos.

-Heman has zero fun in this movie. Again that just might be Dolph.

-Sword battle is little odd. Gets dark, no one else around. To short. Wish it was longer.

-The tone of the movie is pretty dark.

-When they show the wound on Cox's leg I always would close my eyes. It still grosses me out today.

-Light saber wip is cool.

-So now the key can travel back in time? If so when Julie is sent back... By Back to the Future rules there should be two Julies and two Kevins... Deal with that Gwildor.

-Good Journey

I still enjoy watching this movie. Its the Heman I have always enjoyed since I just think the cartoon can't hold a candle to Thundercats. Is it good? No, do I have fun watching it? Yes. If it was done a bit better with more of a Origin story and not on a budget(17 Mil) that kept everything on earth it would have been better. Leave the humans out and don't start the movie...in the middle of the story and we might be talking about a 80s classic.

Found two great Interviews with the actors of Man at Arms and Karg! (there is a blog for everything I swear)
Also a very good Interview with the Director who gives some great insight with all the challenges of making this film.
My son Evan just turned 4 and loves Knight Rider. Thank god for Netflix or I would be switching DVDs all day. We of course watch his favorite episodes over..and over...and over. The one that I can't watch anymore is Halloween Knight so I've banned that one until October. We play with his Kitt toy on a daily basis. Sometime after playing or watching Monster trucks and shooting hoops on his kids hoop. Or we go for a ride on his Knight 2000 Power Wheel. I tried to pry some Q&A out of the little guy. Here's what he could muster about Knight Rider.

Dad:Why do you like Knight Rider?

Evan:Cause I do, I like it so much.

Dad:What is your favorite episode?

Evan:I like the one with two cars...
Dad:Which one? One with the Silver one or the bums?
Evan:Silver one. He fights the black KITT

Dad:What is your favorite KITT stunt?

Evan:Turbo boost one.
Dad:Do you like Super Pursuit mode?
Evan:No I don't like it.

Dad:Who do you like better KITT or Michael?

Evan:KITT.

Dad:Why?
Evan:I like his lights and buttons.
Dad:What episode makes you nervous?
Evan:The one with the Bulldozer.
Evan:Yeah, KITT is stuck in the mud.
Dad:What your favorite Knight Rider Toy?
(Evan runs off)

Dad:Where are you going?
Evan:Getting my Cars toys!
Dad:Typical
